Midweek Weddings

Do you love nature and love the idea of being married in one of our beautiful outdoor ceremony spaces?

You’d both prefer a smaller, more intimate wedding with plans for a beautiful ceremony and a friendly meal with your nearest and dearest? The big, noisy dance-party type celebrations not your thing?

Then you might like to consider a small daytime micro wedding for up to 40 – which includes you two.

You can pretty-up the venue as much or as little as you wish the evening before.

Then, from 9am – you can have all the fun of getting dressed and ready with your gang in the spacious farmhouse.

Like all our couples – you’ll have complete freedom to marry in either the hilltop willow ‘cathedral’ or in the more secluded (and kind of secretive) silver birch ‘church’. And btw., our ‘wet weather plan’ is the funky stretch tent.

Whether you choose a legally-binding ceremony with the Registrars from DCC or decide on a celebrant-led ceremony, we are on hand to welcome them all.

Following your ceremony, complimentary prosecco will be served either alfresco anywhere at the venue, under the funky stretch tent or in our elegantly rustic barn – ‘The Old Dairy’.

We recommend using ‘The Old Dairy’ for your wedding breakfast (whether you choose a ‘sit down’, a BBQ, a picnic or street food style pizza or paella).

You will have plenty of time for speeches if you want them; a bouquet-toss and a ‘cutting of the cake’ as you choose. You may even want to have a first dance.  We have a great PA system for a plug-in play list. It really is up to you!

This style of wedding – an intimate wedding, means less organising, less stress, no pressure and no late-night shenanigans. Especially suited to couples who don’t really want to go all out on the DJ/dancing into the night scene.

Just a lovely day with a timely finish so you both get a chance to cosy up in the Hobbit House with a Continental Breakfast in the morning.
